I heard people talking at the general store. The next Paul Bunyan they declared. Around the pot bellied stove by the counter, dozens of people came and went, none were surprised. I went for a visit. My eyes were wide open. “That’s just the way things are done around the bay”. Some said he just didn’t know better. Some looked down on him as too ambitious.
